2nd Beach is located about 2 kilometers south of Essaouira’s main beach, easily accessible by a short walk along the coast. This spot is favored by kitesurfers and windsurfers due to its more consistent wind conditions compared to the main beach. The wind here typically blows cross-shore from the right, creating ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced riders. 2nd Beach offers a mix of flat water and small to medium-sized waves, depending on the tide and swell. The best season for water sports at this spot is from March to November, with wind speeds often ranging from 15 to 30 knots.
